Estellen Sohl was a former [yadawiki link="Hellriders" show="Hellrider"]Battlemage who retired from military life to raise her family in [yadawiki link="Elturel" show=""]. When the city was swallowed up into [yadawiki link="Avernus" show=""], she braved the horrors in the streets to gather food and supplies as her family braced for weeks in the basement of their home in East Elturel.

Tragically, she returned one night to see her husband and children dead and brutalized by the insane cultists who were terrorizing the city in their celebration of these dark days.

In agonizing fury, she used her wizard abilities to burn the house and the evil cultists inside of it. Heroes discovered her later, wandering the streets, bereft of hope or anything to keep her alive. She continued on only fueled by her hatred of the devils and cultists, slaying them wherever she went, wandering in a hazy bloodlust of violent retribution.

The heroes convinced her to seek saftey and fellowship at the High Hall where some Hellriders who were still alive were holding the fortress and where many civilians were taking refuge in the catacombs below.

She now fights bravely to defend what little is left of the good people of Elturel, hoping against all odds that they might escape [yadawiki link="The Nine Hells of Baator" show="Hell's"] clutches.
