Sven Lyons was a Hellrider who fought at the Battle of Avernus. Seeing the gut wrenching devastation, standing witness to Finnen holding the limp body of the recently deceased Morgan in his arms, began to lead many to abandon Zariel and the Three Generals. They retreated back through the portal to Idylglen to escape Avernus. Many bravely stayed, including Finnen and Edmond.

For those who escaped, they would return to Elturel and tell of their great victory over the devils, founding the future Hellriders organization in Elturel.
